A few words about this item from chef José Andrés:
You know I love simple food. These chips have only three amazing ingredients: potatoes, extra virgin olive oil and Himalayan pink salt. Chipmaster Rafael del Rosal uses only the finest: Spanish "Agria" potatoes; a custom blend extra virgin olive oil from ancient groves in the heart of Andalucía, milled next to the chip factory to ensure purity and freshness; and pink salt, from the foothills of the Himalayas, rich in minerals. The potatoes are slow-fried, allowing the goodness and healthy qualities of the extra virgin olive oil to meld with the chips. They are then sprinkled lightly with salt and packaged in an innovative bag designed to deliver the chip to you perfectly, as if just cooked. Delicious and so right for the way we eat today - a crunchy chip that explodes in your mouth yet is substantial enough to pair with ham, simple seafoods, or a good gin and tonic for easy tapas at home. And I'll tell you a secret: they are spectacular in omelettes!
Potatoes, 100% extra virgin olive oil, salt. Gluten free.

"Best chips on the market. I first tasted potato chips made with olive oil and salt in Madrid and could never eat another Lay's potato chip after that. Jose Andres makes an amazing potato chip with three ingredients: potatoes, olive oil, and salt."

"The chips (San Nicasio)from Jose Andres are excellent, much more so than the Torres brand. Hard to understand why La Tienda, with its proverbial good taste, changed to that other brand! I certainly hope you come to your senses and return to the best!! "

"My local Kroger sold these for a special Spanish-inspired event as well. After doing a Whole30 and trying to eat healthier, I've been on the lookout for potato chips consisting of nothing but potatoes, salt, and healthy oils. The Jose Andres chips were a real find! Made with only olive oil, potatoes, and salt, they are healthier to eat and have a truly unique taste. Most chips on the market made with olive oil are kettle chips, and too crunchy (hard) for me. This is a nice light chip (not too crunchy) with a light olive oil taste. I have turned into somewhat of a chip connoisseur - I've tried ones made with coconut oil, avocado oil, sunflower and safflower oil....but the Jose Andres chips are hands down the best! "
