The ceramics of the small village of La Rambla, in the south of Córdoba, have been sought after since Roman times for their quality. The local clay produces a durable, light bone-colored ceramic, an ideal background for hand-painting decorative designs. 

The Figaroa family at Ivanros carries on the tradition of La Rambla, with every piece painted by hand. While their designs follow tradition, they fire their  pieces using modern equipment to produce durable, dishwasher safe ceramics for everyday use.
