Ingredients
- 2cups tomato juice
- 2oz dry sherry, such as Fino or Manzanilla
- 2-3oz vodka, to taste
- 1tbsp fresh lemon juice (from about half a fresh lemon)
- 1tbsp sherry vinegar
- 1/4tsp spicy Salsa Espinaler (optional)
- 1tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3-4tsp grated horseradish
- 1/4tsp celery salt
- 1/2tsp celery seed
- 1-2small cloves garlic, peeled and pressed (optional)
- Pinch of hot smoked paprika or
- Pinch of Piment d’Espelette
- 2lemon wedges for garnish
- Banderillas en vinagre - spicy pickle skewers, for garnish
Preparation
STEP 1
Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a small pitcher or other suitable container. Stir and refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
When ready to serve, stir well and pour into 2 glasses. Add another small pinch of hot smoked paprika or piment d’espelette pepper on the top and garnish with lemon wedges and banderillas - spicy pickle skewers or your choice of one of our other cocktail garnishes.
