Ours are baked to within a few minutes of perfection at the bakery in Spain. All you need to do is bake them for ten minutes, and your kitchen will fill with wonderful enticing aromas, like the rustic bakeries of Santiago de Compostela!
This collection offers four types of traditional Galician bread so you can experience this regional delicacy. All four types are made following the same recipe, it is their shapes that make them deliciously different. Each of these breads is perfect for lunch or dinner, especially alongside soups, stews or cheese plates. Included are 2 Barra Gallega loaves, 2 Mona Gallega loaves, 2 Rosca Gallega loaves and 6 Panecillo Tetiña rolls.
Long loaves of Barra Gallega, similar to wide baguettes, are great with any meal. Round loaves of Mona Gallega have similarly crunchy crusts, with delightful airy interiors. Rosca Gallega is a loaf whose name means ring, referring to its unique doughnut-shape that is fun to break at the table! Panecillo Tetina are over-sized rolls that are perfect for a good bocadillo, with a slice of jamón or Manchego inside. We even make gourmet hamburgers with these crusty rolls!
Of all the bread from Galicia, these versions are the best we’ve tasted. The secret lies in their baker, tucked away in Lugo in the heart of Galicia, who par-bakes the loaves, then immediately freezes them and ships them to us. To enjoy, simply thaw it, pop it in the oven at for 10 minutes, and you’ll have freshly baked bread on demand!

You can store the bread for several days in the refrigerator, or several weeks in the freezer. For best results, thaw the bread before baking.
