Piparras are small semi-sweet peppers from the Basque Country of Spain. These slender yellow-green peppers are sometimes known as Guindillas la Vasca.

Packed in vinegar, they're a tangy, slightly sweet treat with just a mild hint of spice. They're reminiscent of the taste of banana peppers with a fuller, richer flavor.

Piparras are a wonderful accompaniment to Bonito tuna or smoked fish. They make a great tapas item with a splash of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. Here at La Tienda, we're guilty of eating them straight out of the jar.

Ingredients

Piparras, wine vinegar (contains sulphur dioxide as a preservative), salt, citric acid, ascorbic acid. This product has been produced free of gluten, nuts, dairy and soy.
