Perfect for a sweets dish, peladillas are made of the coveted Marcona almonds of Spain which are encased in a crunchy white candy coating. Celebrations in Spain would not quite be the same without a handful of peladillas.

In Italy, candy coated almonds were the first “confetti” and were tossed during weddings. Ouch!

These tasty treats are also known as Jordan Almonds and are served at holiday time – they are much the same thing, but without the supreme characteristics of the Marcona almond.

These sweet, crunchy candies are a delicious treat for the whole family!
