So, so, good. I love these from my time traveling in Europe and they are my absolute favorite pastry. Very easy to keep in, and we bake a box of them in our counter top toaster oven whenever we fancy them. They come out beautifully flaky and the filling is a divinely smooth and creamy baked custard. Just wonderful.
