Mas Tarrés is a delicious, fruity extra virgin olive oil from the hills of Catalonia. Flavorful but never bitter, it is ideal for garden salads, sautéed vegetables or paired with warm baked bread. This cold pressed Arbequina oil has delicate flavors of fresh herbs, green apples and a welcoming nuttiness.
The Solé family harvests the tiny nut-brown Arbequina olives early and presses them within hours to extract the full flavor and healthful qualities of the oil. Arbequina olives are the most sought after in Spain for their fruity flavor and mild bitterness.
This three liter box contains an airtight compartment, shielding the oil from air and light. Simply refill your favorite cruet from the tap as needed. Store the box in a cool, dark place until you need another refill.
Award winning Mas Tarrés olive oil is part of the DOP Siurana, a government regulated region recognized for its premium olive oils. This cold pressed extra virgin olive oil is part of the Mediterranean diet, and has many incredibly healthful properties, from lowering cholesterol to maintaining healthful skin. Only fresh, pure extra virgin oil has these benefits, and Mas Tarrés is in a different league from the mass market oils you will find at the supermarket.
