Our fuet follows a Catalan recipe using heritage pork and no nitrates. It has a smooth, mild taste with no smoky Pimentón de La Vera paprika.
The natural casing of your fuet will have a dusting of harmless white mold. Peel away the casing before eating.
The Pyrenees mountain towns of Osuna and Vic are especially known for excellent examples of these sausages. Our fuet follows this tradition, made by an artisan sausage maker in the U.S.
Natural pork, sea salt, celery powder, dried milk powder, black pepper, sodium ascorbate (vitamin C) and fermentation starter culture in natural pork casing.

Use and Care
These cured chorizos can be eaten straight out of the package. Slice and eat, no cooking needed. The natural casing of your fuet will have a dusting of harmless white mold. Peel away the casing before eating.
Keep refrigerated in between servings.
Small white dots of mold on the exterior of cured chorizos are not uncommon and can be wiped off using a cloth dampened with cooking oil. Product with green or black mold should not be consumed.
