Marcona almonds are rich and flavorful with a delicate, sweet flavor. Crunchy but smooth, Spanish Marconas are much larger and not as dense as common almonds. Sautéed in olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt, they are a classic pairing with wine or beer and a charcuterie board classic.
Marconas are native to Spain, where they grow along the Mediterranean coast. They are packed with healthy mono-unsaturated oils which studies have shown can lower LDL cholesterol.
