La Tienda Tapas Bar Opens Community Kitchen
La Tienda has converted its restaurant in Williamsburg, Virginia into a community kitchen to help those affected by COVID-19. We are delivering over 500 meals a week to people in need across our community.
We have paused selling to the public while our team prepares to reopen for the summer. We will open again starting June 2nd, Tuesday-Saturday from 12pm-7pm with a limited take-out menu of tapas favorites. We will also have wine and beer to-go, in addition to snack items in the shop. Customers can enjoy their tapas on the patio.

La Tienda is working under the umbrella of World Central Kitchen, a worldwide effort led by Chef José Andrés to provide hot meals to people in need during times of crisis. WCK's #ChefsForAmerica is a coalition of restaurants working together to provide meals to Americans that need assistance. This nationwide effort will feed those in need, as well as guarantee a reliable and recurring stream of revenue for restaurants.
The safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. We are diligently cleaning and disinfecting our kitchen and facilities. We are also monitoring employees closely to ensure their health and that they are following strict guidelines on cleanliness and personal hygiene.
If you would like to support World Central Kitchen’s national effort to feed communities affected by the current crisis, please consider donating.
