Yosmar Monique Martinez is a cookbook author and culinary instructor on a mission to inspire everyone to explore the wonderful world of delicious food. By the time she was nine years old, Yosmar had lived in four countries, experiencing many different cuisines and cultures. As a young adult, she moved to Paris to study at the renowned culinary school Le Cordon Bleu. While in Paris, she interned at Pierre Hermé Paris, one of the most innovative and exquisite pastry shops in the world. She has walked the Camino de Santiago four times and is very active in the pilgrim community in the United States. She currently resides in Miami Beach, FL, where she teaches private cooking classes.
The Camino de Santiago de Compostela is an ancient pilgrimage route stretching across northern Spain from France to the beautiful city of Santiago in verdant Galicia.
