How could Jamón Serrano get any better? How about a kick of hickory smoke! This delicious ham is cured in the Spanish tradition for over a year, then smoked to add a little new world charm. Like Spanish Serrano ham, these thin slices are ready to eat with no cooking necessary. Serve with a hunk of hearty bread and a glass of good wine. Also tasty in sandwiches and your favorite recipes.
This limited production ham is from our friends at the legendary smokehouse S. Wallace Edwards. It is made with heritage Berkshire pork, a fattier breed which lends the ham more flavor. They are pasture raised for a happier pig which yields incredibly tasty ham.
Each ham is cured for a minimum of 400 days in the style of Spanish Serrano and cold smoked over hickory wood. Serve the delectable smoky slices at room temperature and enjoy!
