Sometimes known as Guindillas la Vasca, piparras are small, slender yellow-green peppers from the Basque Country of Spain.
Packed in vinegar, they're a tangy, slightly sweet treat with just a mild hint of spice. They're reminiscent of the taste of banana peppers with a fuller flavor.
Piparras are fantastic served with Bonito tuna or smoked fish. They make a great tapas item served on their own with a splash of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. Here at La Tienda, we've been known to eat them straight out of the jar.
Piparras, vinegar, salt, citric acid, ascorbic acid.

"These pepper are not hot. They are crisp with a delicate flavor. They're great with any sandwich, or dress-up a salad!!"

"Disappointing. I usually buy the small jars and the peppers are always so crisp. This larger jar has mushy peppers. Flavors ok, but not crisp at all.."
