Fire roasted piquillos blended into a rich, slightly spicy pâté, picapiquillo is perfect for tapas spreads or served with roasted meats and vegetables. The sweet, smoky piquillo peppers are blended with toasted rustic bread, garlic and sherry vinegar creating an addictively delicious pâté.
Juan Antonio and Isabella Cantizano prepare this amazing pâté at their small farm in the province of Cádiz, in southern Spain. Made in small batches using premium ingredients, including extra virgin olive oil, their pâtés are addictively delicious.
The couple grows piquillo peppers on their farm until they are red and ripe, then fire roast them until charred, then clean each one by hand. This focus on quality shows in the amazing flavor and texture of their pâtés.
