Each bite of this rich, creamy candy is a delight. Jijona candy is 65% fresh roasted almonds, blended with local honey - about as healthy as a candy can get. Serve slices of this almond dessert with a cup of fresh coffee or tea.
Jijona turrón is named after the town of Jijona, where it was invented. This region has been the center for Spanish Christmas candy for centuries. With origins dating back to the time of the Moors, this candy is now (somewhat ironically) most often served at Christmas celebrations. We love it so much that we offer it all year!
Almonds (64%), honey (13%), sugar, glucose syrup, egg white and emulgent (mono and diglycerides of fatty acids). Produced in a company that uses other tree nuts and soy.
