A few words about this item from chef José Andrés:
These San Nicasio potato chips are no ordinary snack: thinly sliced potatoes, slow cooked at a low temperature in extra virgin olive oil for amazing crunch. A finishing touch of Himalayan pink salt adds incredible dimension. I love them straight from the bag, or for a true Spanish treat, try them topped with canned seafood for an amazing tapa. I can never eat just one.
You know I love simple food. These chips have only three amazing ingredients: potatoes, extra virgin olive oil and Himalayan pink salt. Chipmaster Rafael del Rosal uses only the finest: Spanish "Agria" potatoes; a custom blend extra virgin olive oil from ancient groves in the heart of Andalucía, milled next to the chip factory to ensure purity and freshness; and pink salt, from the foothills of the Himalayas, rich in minerals. The potatoes are slow-fried, allowing the goodness and healthy qualities of the extra virgin olive oil to meld with the chips. They are then sprinkled lightly with salt and packaged in an innovative bag designed to deliver the chip to you perfectly, as if just cooked. Delicious and so right for the way we eat today - a crunchy chip that explodes in your mouth yet is substantial enough to pair with ham, simple seafoods, or a good gin and tonic for easy tapas at home. And I'll tell you a secret: they are spectacular in omelettes!

"Best potato chips I have ever eaten. Please continue to make them and have them available at Whole Foods again. Thank you."
"This smaller package does not have the same taste of the larger package. It lacks flavor."
"I have never had better potato chips. They are thin and crisp, but not brittle (they can be broken in half without breaking into many smaller pieces). They also have a enough, but not too much. salt. They are a beautiful golden color. I have not seen any "burnt" ones out of a dozen bags. I love the small bag size -- perfect for a snack -- I can have some without overdoing it. "
