88 Points - "The sweetness buffers the tang in this round, accessible Sherry, whose white pepper, chocolate and nut flavors are moderately concentrated." -Wine SpectatorTASTING NOTES:
Amontillado Sherry takes its name from the Montilla region of Spain where it was originally produced. Amontillado is darker in color and has a richer flavor than Fino Sherry. Amontillados have intense, nutty aromas, are almost always dry and possess a slightly sweet finish. This particular Amontillado has been gently sweetened with a small amount of Pedro Ximinez wine.
It is best served lightly chilled. Pair it with soups, chowders and bisques. Amontillado is also wonderful with appetizers, salted nuts and mild, dry cheeses.
