92 Points - "The non-vintage Pedro Ximinez 1827 is amber/brown in color with sweet candied aromas. Viscous in texture, it offers sweet flavors of fig, apricot and raisins." -Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate

TASTING NOTES:
"A spectacularly sweet and rich bruiser, and one that delivers the essence of raisins, toffee and chocolate. This wine hasn't taken one turn south, and it's beckoning to be consumed. The finish is impeccably smooth and rich, luscious and long - very, very long. A guarantee for anyone who loves the hedonistic combination of sweet fruit, brown sugar and chocolate." -Wine Enthusiast

Made from the grape of the same name, Pedro Ximinez Sherry is literally dessert in a glass.
Pedro Ximinez grapes are dried in the sun to concentrate their sugars and flavors.

This sherry has a deep dark color and a lingering sweet finish with flavors of figs, dates, molasses and coffee. Drink it on its own or pair it with blue cheese and Marcona almonds. You could even pour it over a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
The Osborne winery is a centuries old family business known around the world for their sherries. Osborne's wineries in Puerto de Santa Maria were designed specifically for sherry production. The buildings face South and Southwest to catch the sea breeze. They also feature high ceilings to allow the fresh sea air to circulate. Both design features are essential for making a perfect sherry.

Osborne's sherry casks are made of American oak that allows the wine to "breathe" through the wood's pores. Casks are never filled to the brim and the top is never fully sealed. The air that seeps in guarantees some oxidation - a key to making sherry wine.

Over the generations, the Osborne family has managed a company devoted to making and aging sherry wine that is appreciated around the world. Osborne honors the long family tradition of quality sherry production while being enthusiastic about growth and innovation.
