Angel Rodríguez, the 94 year-old winemaker of this Verdejo, was honored by King Juan Carlos for his efforts of saving the Verdejo vines which grow in his 17th Century, pre-phylloxera vineyard, which is less than an acre. Viscous with a powerful finish, this wine maintains a delicate floral nose, making this a Spanish wine that is dear to our hearts. Less than 2,000 cases made.
