What a beautiful work of art this is -- and a perfect wall decoration. The Spaniards use it to serve a crisp garden salad -- ensalada mixta. Many times Ruth and I prepare in this plate a salad of fresh tomatoes, sweet onions and cucumbers, on a bed of spring greens. We put the plate between us so we can share it informally. What is unusual is the lip around the plate -- an edge that contains the contents. This plate has many other applications. A nice size to have around. (Food safe, lead free, hand wash.)

"I love this dish and simply adore the design shown in the photo. However, the design I received is quite different (mainly red/green). I understand that designs can change over time, however, I'm just not loving the color scheme. Please let me know when you switch back to the blue/yellow colors."
