Green Packaging

Like you, we at La Tienda care about our impact on the environment, and we do everything we can to fulfill our orders in the most responsible way.

- Boxes - All of our cardboard boxes are made of at least 60% post consumer recycled paper, and most have a content of close to 90%. Our boxes are completely recyclable as well.

- Packing Materials - We use absolutely no Styrofoam peanuts. Instead we use a fully recyclable paper-based packing system and bubble wrap, both are much better for our environment and avoid the annoying clean up of Styrofoam peanuts.

- Perishable Packaging - For perishable orders we use high quality, 100% re-usable products including durable Styrofoam coolers and non-toxic cold packs.

- Commitment to Recycling - We have a strong program of recycling at our warehouse in Virginia that has recycled tons of cardboard and paper. La Tienda is a recognized a leader in recycling efforts in our region.
