Grilled Chorizo Kebabs with Cherries and Figs - Pinchitos de Chorizo a la Parilla con Cerezas e Higos

Ingredients:
12 oz cooking chorizo, cut into half inch circles 1/2 pound of cherries, pitted 1/2 pound fresh figs 1 large red onion, cut into 1 inch squares olive oil Skewers
Preparation:
Skewer the ingredients together, alternating between chorizo, fruit and onion. Place in a casserole dish and drizzle with olive oil. Cook over medium high heat on the grill for about ten minutes, rotating the skewers periodically. Serve with good bread and white wine.
