- Delicious flavor favored in tapas bars
- 100% torrefacto beans
- Size - 1.1 lb/500 g
If you have tried to recreate the wonderful café con leche you tasted in Madrid or Granada, your quest is over. This coffee has the secret ingredient that produces the thicker, more flavorful brew that many of you crave. Torrefacto coffee is rarely imported into the United States, even though it is the preferred roast for tapas bars and cafes in Spain. Here is 100% Torrefacto Roast for coffee aficionados who want to make their own personal blends. You determine the intensity of the coffee by varying the percentage of torrefacto beans to regular beans in the mix. You can have an enjoyable time adding different proportions to your favorite coffee beans until you find the coffee that is just right for you!.
Torrefacto is produced by a special roasting process that produces a remarkably robust, full-bodied cup of coffee, without a hint of bitterness. A portion of the quality raw coffee beans are coated with a fine mist of sugar before they are poured in the roaster with the other quality beans.
Arabica coffee and sugar.

"Freshly ground, it makes for a great Friday morning treat. We get a great coffee high by inhaling the aroma of the beans in the bag!"

"Very sorry, good coffee, but not the best. But the quality to price ratio is high."

"We first had this coffee in Barcelona. When we found it online we just had to purchase it. We were not disappointed. It is not as bitter as most coffee. We keep some in the house all the time. Try it, you will love it."

"During our first visit to Spain, we fell in love with the coffee. Mixing these beans with a "regular" coffee gives us a memory of Spain every morning when we make our cafe con leche."

"as good as it smells! just like it is in my hometown of Fuenlabrada in Madrid! If you haven't tried this yet, do yourself a favor and try it! "

"I consider myself somewhat a connoiseur of coffee--recall the infamous T. S. Eliot quotation. So, it is difficult for me to make a quick judgement or comment on something as complex as this particular coffee bean. Let me say, I am impressed with it. You will not be disappointed. But, I will take my time, totally immerse myself in and enjoy my few pounds of this bean, and perhaps comment further down the road. But buy some, and try it!"

"Best of the best! We enjoy it tremendously. We mix it with another european espresso roasted coffee. We use 1 part 100% Torrefacto to 2 parts regular espresso bean and it is just out of this world. Just like the coffee we enjoyed in Spain. "
