- See description for sangría recipe
- Size - 10 inches tall - 10 Cups
Sangría is the perfect party drink! Refreshing and fun, it is enjoyed across southern Spain when friends and family gather. This cheerful pitcher is the ideal way to serve sangría. Each pitcher is made by hand in the small town of El Puente del Arzobispo then carefully painted with a traditional pattern by local craftsmen. Each pitcher is signed by the artist.
This delightful pitcher holds about 2 liters - half a gallon of cool refreshment. The pinched spout will help the wine flow freely and keep the slices of fruit where they belong - inside! These hand painted works of art make for a wonderful gift.
As each pitcher is hand painted, the designs and colors will vary.
Food safe, lead free, hand wash.
TRADITIONAL SANGRÍA (Four Servings)
1 bottle Reál Sangría mix or Spanish red wine
1/4 cup of orange juice
1/4 cup of orange liqueur (optional), such as Gran Marnier or Cointreau
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 cup of chilled soda water
Sliced apples, oranges, limes and whatever fruit you enjoy
Combine the wine with the orange juice, liqueur and fruit. Refrigerate for at least an hour, ideally overnight. Add chilled soda water and a small amount of ice right before serving.
