- Traditional steel pan
- Dimpled surface to disperse heat
- Wipe down with olive oil for care
- Safe for use with induction cooktops
- Size - 10 in/26 cm
This paella pan serves two people. It is the traditional steel paella pan used by Spaniards for centuries. The pan bottom is dimpled in order to spread heat evenly. You can use this paella pan either in the oven, on top of the stove, or on an outdoor grill.
As you use your steel paella pan it will become seasoned: changing color and absorbing more flavors as you continue to cook with it.
After each use, treat the pan as you would any steel or cast iron pan: wash it by hand, then season it with a light film of oil to retard rust. Should any rust appear, merely wipe it off.
Seasoning tip: If you coat the pan with olive oil and place it in a 350 F oven for two hours the process will help prevent rust.
Safe for use with induction cooktops.

Anita - Cumming, Georgia - Jan 6, 2013
"For such a simple, inexpensive pan, it makes the greatest paella possible, and the size is just perfect for my wife and myself. I also have a 13-inch pan, but it makes way too much paella for the two of us."
Paella Monster - RIverdale, New Jersey - Jan 6, 2013
"Perfect size for the 2 portion Paella de Mariscos. The sticker on the pan advises boiling water in the pan before the first use. I discovered that this is to remove the manufacturer's protective coating which is not easy to remove. You need to add some apple cider vinegar to the water to do this more easily. Then I washed the pan thoroughly and it was ready to go."

"This is a gift and hasn't been used yet. However, the recipient has another La Tienda paella pan in a different size, and loves it! So I'm sure this pan will be greatly enjoyed and will get lots of use. "
