- Nice moderate spiciness
- Tangy, sweet, and delicious!
- Gluten Free
- Size - 4.5 oz - About 40 peppers
These spicy-sweet little peppers are a favorite treat in the Basque Country.
The thin green peppers are picked early and packed in white wine vinegar creating a tangy and perfectly spicy treat. (They have the heat of something like a banana pepper but they are more delicate and complex.)
They are a favorite with guests. We find that they disappear very quickly and pair perfectly with a good cheese and a crisp white wine.
Ingredients
Guindilla peppers, wine vinegar, salt, citric acid as acidulant and ascorbic acid as antioxidant. Gluten Free.

"These are insanely good! If you like anything pickled with a little kick, you will love these. I ate the entire jar in two days. They are pickled in white wine vinegar, which adds a complexity to them to make them taste even better than most pickled products. "

"The guindillas peppers are uniquely delicious. I made the featured tapas of manchego, jamon & peppers and served them with a chilled pinot gris on a hot summer night. On that evening we lived happily ever after. (the fire factor was mild for my palate so combined with the other elements they worked with the wine)"
