Peladillas - Candy Coated Almonds
Famous '1880' Party Treat

$6.50 / TR-12   3.5oz/100g

Average Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 4 Star Rating

Perfect for a snack dish, peladillas are made of the coveted Marcona almonds of Spain which are encased in a crunchy white candy coating. Celebrations in Spain would not quite be the same without a handful of peladillas.

In Italy candy coated almonds were the first “confetti” and were tossed during weddings. Ouch!

In New England, where I grew up, my mother always bought Jordan Almonds at holiday time – they are much the same thing, but without the super almond.

Whatever your background, you and your guests are sure to enjoy them any time you have a get-together.
