Classic Turrón Alicante is an incomparable almond brittle. Marcona almonds make up 65% of these 'suprema' gourmet rounds-- one cannot add many more almonds before it would crumble!
The famous producer '1880' makes these brittle almond turrón rounds by bonding Marcona almonds with orange blossom honey. They add a little egg white to the recipe to ensure crunchiness, then place the round between a light wafer for easier handling.
These 'tortas' are made by the famous producer '1880' whose products are recognized throughout Spain as meeting the highest standard of turrón production. Following an artisanal process they are made in Jijona, Alicante - for centuries the center of turrón production in Spain.
Each package contains a round of crisp turrón, foil-sealed for absolute freshness.
