We’ve tasted hundreds of versions to find the artisanal flavors that we’ve enjoyed in Spain, and these selections are truly outstanding!

Salsa Brava is the magic ingredient in the classic dish patatas bravas. We’ve watched local women at Despensa la Nuestra in Cordoba simmer tomatoes with extra virgin olive oil and a touch of pepper to make this rich sauce. It adds vibrant flavor to potatoes as well as pasta, roast pork and even fish!

If you’ve lingered over pan con tomate, toasted bread with tomatoes and olive oil spooned on top, you’ve already savored Salsa Tumaca. Our friends at Navarrico prepare the special combination by mixing ripe local tomatoes with good Spanish olive oil, minced garlic and sea salt. The refreshing result adds lively flavor to fresh bread in no time!

We’ve included two other exhilarating sauces that are popular Spanish staples. Tomate Frito is made from tomatoes, onions, peppers and garlic. These fresh, local vegetables simmer with olive oil for hours, concentrating their flavors and becoming remarkably tender, perfect for paella or pasta.

Made in Navarra, Spanish Pisto is a mix of fresh tomatoes, zucchini, onion, eggplant and piquillo peppers. Cooked in olive oil, the chopped vegetables thicken into an incredible sauce. While you can spread it across Spanish tortillas, we like to dip fresh bread straight into the jar!
