Garlic, olive oil and salt.

Whole Roasted Garlic Cloves
Hand-made by La Cuna

$9.95  7 oz/ 200 g   / SC-11

Quantity:

La Cuna has prepared plump whole garlic cloves by roasting them in extra virgin olive oil with a dash of sea salt. They have a wonderfully sweet mellow flavor. Savor them individually, blend them into a sauce or gravy, or spread them on crusty bread.

Garlic is a signature product in Spanish cuisine, and therefore the Spaniards have perfected the art of growing some of the best garlic in the world. One town exports 80% of their garlic throughout the world.

Garlic is prepared in many forms. Raw garlic is minced for salad dressings, and chopped for gambas al ajillo - garlic shrimp. Cooked garlic, which is fried, roasted or simmered in a soup, has a milder flavor. La Tienda even has cloves of pickled garlic with olive oil which is eaten as a snack, as you would olives or peanuts.  (more info)

Garlic takes on a completely new and mellow identity when it is roasted. Try it, you will like it.
