Our Ybarra Collection of Olives is produced by the eminent Hijos de Ybarra company. Originally founded in 1842 by the first Count of Ybarra, Don José María de Ybarra y Gutierrez de Coviedes, it remains in the family’s hands six generations later.
Aljarife manzanilla table olives are noted for their plumpness, size and flavor. Ybarra is known throughout Spain as the standard against which all other commercial olives are measured.

"I would have given these olives a five star BUT, upon reading the fine print on my containers of Ybarra Anchovy Stuffed Olives and Peregrino Anchovy Stuffed Olives, I am disappointed to find that the flavor has been enhanced using the chemical MSG (mono sodium glutamate), a chemical to which many persons are sensitive. My opinion is that a truly superior product should not require artificial flavor enhancement. I do note that only the anchovy stuffed olives contain MSG."
