Known as 'madalenas' in their native Argentina, these vanilla flavored muffins by Valente are filled with sweet, creamy dulce de leche. Enjoy them as a treat with an afternoon cup of coffee or tea.
Not quite as decadent as a cupcake, each individually wrapped madalena is filled with dulce de leche, a rich caramel spread made with milk and sugar. Delicious on their own, they can also be topped with icing or chocolate sauce and garnished with fruit, cocoa or coconut for a more elegant presentation.
