Hojalmar biscuits are an Argentinian treat made with lightly sweetened puff pastry. Delicious on their own at any time of day, they're even better when paired with freshly brewed coffee or tea.
These cookies are made in the European tradition with puff pastry, a multi-layered dough closely related to croissant dough. Hojalmar cookies are similar in taste and texture to Palmiers, a popular French cookie that is also made with puff pastry and topped with sugar.
