The best way to enjoy Jamón Serrano is freshly sliced. A perfect foundation for parties or family gatherings, our signature Peregrino Serrano ham provides one of the most traditional tastes of Spain at your fingertips for everyday cooking or entertaining.
Perhaps it will find a home on the counter top where it will stay fresh for weeks while you slice off savory goodness daily. Or make this regal Jamón Serrano the festive main centerpiece of a meal, keep it off to the side at parties for revelers to indulge in at their leisure, or add to soups and stews and other dishes.
This full-flavored traditional Spanish ham is aged for 18 months in the mountains of Spain and known for its consistent quality. During the curing process the jamón undergoes a tasty transition as it sheds 20 to 40 percent of its weight - fat melting away and complex flavors and mild saltiness developing.
Because whole hams continue to cure until you cut into them, you can hang it in the basement for weeks before its first use — where it will only get better with time
Serrano is the most enjoyed ham in Spain, found at restaurants and family dinner tables across the country. You will be impressed with each succulent bite. We tasted hams from across Spain and chose this jamón to represent our family’s Peregrino brand, and after one mouthful you will understand why. The goal of our Peregrino brand is to offer the quintessential flavors of Spain at their best.
Each ham is accompanied with personal care and handling instructions as well as carving tips. A ham holder is a necessary accessory in order to carve ham properly. Store your ham in a cool, dry place.

"It's been a great ham! Been eating over 3 weeks and are enjoying the various flavors of each part of the ham. Good quality and flavor! I've had several people tell me it was better than what they had gotten from US Restaurants. "
