Jamón Serrano literally means 'mountain ham' and Monte Nevado is a member of the Consorcium of Jamón Serrano which guarantees the quality of each ham. These hams were cured for well over a year, after which the bone is removed. The careful oversight of the Monte Nevado ham master means that each Jamón is cured long enough to for a consistent, firm texture and full ham flavor.
You can slice your Monte Nevado Trivuim ham in a mechanical slicer - we recommend you slice it well chilled for consistent results. You can also cut your ham into pieces to share with friends or store for future use. Remember to always keep your boneless ham in the refrigerator.
