Don’t worry about storing it. Because this dry cured meat is protected by a natural layer of fat, a wrapped boneless piece of Jamón Serrano will stay moist in the refrigerator considerably longer than a packet of our hand sliced Jamón. If you happen to go a way for a week or two, you can pop it in the freezer, properly wrapped.
You can use any extra trimmings as seasoning for paella and a variety of dishes, or as a prime seasoning for traditional cocidos and stews.
