This traditional bone-in serrano ham has been hung up to cure for 14 months, a few months younger than our other hams. The result is a mild, fresh ham which is easy to slice.
Campofrío is the largest meat producer in Spain and their premiere product is this quality Jamón Serrano, which they cure in their state-of-the-art facility in Burgos. There they reproduce the ideal mountain climate for a cured Serrano ham, adjusting the temperature and humidity as over a year passes. From beginning to end the production of these hams is focussed on consistency of quality.
This serrano ham is delicious, and should be sliced thinly and served with crusty bread, or added to your favorite recipe. This jamón can be stored in a holder for several weeks as you enjoy its uniquely Spanish flavor.

"Very good basic serrano ham. Excellent value if you get it on sale. The ham is moist, not salty and slices very well. The flavor is not as complex as a bellota one but better than any prosciutto."
