Frutas de Aragón have been famous for centuries. These delights are made of fresh fruit poached in sugar, then coated with rich dark chocolate. The result is a balance between the firm, rich chocolate and the soft, sweet fruit - a match made in heaven!
The city of Zaragoza in Aragón boasts plenty of excellent fruits, from apples and pears, to plums and oranges. Centuries ago the people of Aragón perfected the method of preserving these valuable fruit by carefully poaching them in sugar.
After the the New World was discovered, the perfect accompaniment was added - chocolate. To this day Frutas de Aragón are famous throughout the world as a special, delicious candy.
Ingredients
Assorted candied fruit (sugar, fruit and preservatives E-200 and E-211), chocolate coating (sugar, cocoa paste, cocoa butter, emulsifier, lecithin, vanilla flavoring).
