  • Super thin and crisp butter almond cookies
  • 13% butter, 8% almonds
  • Original recipe from Toledo
These delicate buttery cookies are a favorite here at La Tienda - so buttery and crisp it is hard to eat just one.

Delaviuda produces these cookies in Toledo from an old family recipe. Delaviuda started in 1927 when Manuel Lopez's widow took over the family business that she and her husband had founded. She soon earned a reputation for care and dedication, and, above all, incredible confections. (more info)

They are still made in the region of Toledo with the same care as this famous widow, "la viuda" in Spanish. (close)
