They are made by 'Ines Rosales', the venerable bakery in the city of Sevilla, which has been making classic Spanish sweets for over a century. You may be familiar with their inimitable 'Tortas de Aceite' and Almond Dessert Crisps.

I cannot think of a nicer old-fashioned treat.
