Empanadillas are smaller versions of the immensely popular empanada. Empanadas originated in Galicia - a northwestern region of Spain. Spanish empanadas are savory pockets of pastry stuffed with numerous types of filling - ours contain bonito tuna in a tomato and onion sauce.
Empanadillas are found all over Spain and can be eaten at any time of the day. Traditionally served as a tapas dish, they make a fantastic party food as eating them requires no utensils.
To prepare, simply fry in extra virgin olive oil at 350 degrees F until the crust is golden brown.
Contains wheat, fish and soy.

"I have to say they are so tasty, they remind me of La Coruna. But there is a problem. When I toke them out of the freezer they were stock to each other and almost came apart. They should not be one on top of each other or mabe some plastic in between them. I wish they would of not crumbled."

"empanadillas are fabulous when you are able to eat them the only problem I had was that i froze mine when they arrived, then the day that i wanted to cook them i defrosted them for the entire day in the refrigerator and when i went to cook them because there is no kind of wax paper to separate the empanadillas they were falling apart. unfortunately didn't have the chance to enjoy them the way they are meant to have. I would highly recommend to the vendor to have some kind of wax paper in between empanadillas so when defrosted or even separated while frozen they don't stick together and fall apart!"
