No olive oil is more spectacular than that pressed from tiny arbequina olives picked the first day of harvest - just before they are fully ripe.

We first tried this special olive oil a few months ago at a gourmet food show - it was so brilliant green that people were lining up to try a taste!  And the flavor did not disappoint: bright, herbal and smooth with a wonderful aroma.  We decided then and there that we must share it with you.

Knowing that the green, barely ripe olive yields the best of the vintage, the Vaño family of Castillo de Canena decided to create a very special, limited edition oil.  They set aside a portion of the olive grove, hand-pick the olives as early as is possible, and pour the brilliant green juice into distinctive red bottles that block all light from compromising the flavor.  For the discerning food lover, this is the once-a-year chance to enjoy the best of the best.
